Flameworking II: Developing Your Technique
4 Tuesdays, October 29-November 19, 6-9 pm
Students with some Flameworking experience will be introduced to techniques to decorate your beads. Making twisties, layering dot patterns, frit and enamel applications, and moving beyond the basic donut bead will be explored. The class will be structured with demonstration and practice time with a different technique introduced at each of the four class sessions. The glass will then be annealed in a kiln overnight after each class.
Handouts will be included.
Notes:
- Wear only natural fiber clothing (cotton, wool, linen), closed-toed shoes, and socks.
- Bring a bag lunch.

Prerequisite: Some experience Flameworking. The knowledge of a safety precautions, studio etiquette, and how to successfully make a donut-shaped bead.
